About Our Candles
All of The Nestled Wick candles are poured with love in small batches which allows for each candle to get the time and attention it deserves. Each scent is tested to make sure the proper wick is used to produce as little soot as possible while also creating a flowing scent for you to enjoy. We find leaving a little wax hangup on the sides of your vessel for the first few burns provides a safer candle. As the flame burns lower in the jar it burns hotter, which then melts the left-over wax, so no wax is wasted. Our testers also periodically touch the candle jar to make sure it is not too hot to the touch in the event it needs to be moved.
While melts do not use a flame, they are still tested to make sure the scent works well within the wax. In some cases, you may see a scent in just a candle or just a melt. This means the other did not perform to our satisfaction and additional testing is being done.
All candles and melts are created and tested inhouse which ensures The Nestled Wick is hands on 100% of the time. From the melting of the wax to applying the label and packing it to ship, The Nestled Wick did it.
